Weatherby Mark V Deluxe Question

Question to the Weatherby Guys out there, I am looking at a Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in 308 winchester its a new model two or three years old. Just wondering about quality and acurracy. The owner can't tell me about accracy because it is unfired. Its in mint LNIB condition as well what is the value?

I was disappointed in the accuracy of my two Mark Vs, they were two of the least accurate rifles that I have owned. They both met the 1-1/2" accuracy guarantee, but neither was consistently sub moa.

really wow that is disapointing, for a rifle the value of a Weatherby that is not impressive at all

Did you ever wonder why the Vanguard S2 that costs half as much as a Mark V , has a better accuracy guarantee, than the Mark V? In order to get the same moa accuracy guarantee with a Mark V, you have to pay a premium to purchase the range certified model.

I Have a 300wby deluxe that's a 1/2" rifle@ 100 yards and A Mark V euromark 240wby that can do 1/4" @ 100 yards...3 shot groups.

I have had (still have 2) 3 Mk 5s - they were all very good shooting rifles. One was exceptional with the magic load.
