Okay,
I have a wildcat and convert various H&H magnum brass to my needs.
Use everything from 264 Win Mag to 458 Win Mag and about a half dozen other calibres because I can do so, with the RCBS forming die.

Now I have a very old batch of 1980ish Weatherby brass to compare & with various calibres from several manufacturers it's a little unfair to compare, I know that.

Besides that, have any long term Weatherby owners noticed a change in the quality of factory brass now, compared to a decade or two in the past?

Just wondering if I'm being too picky, or has there been visibly noticeable changes fellas? Primer pockets loose after too few reloads? Cracked necks etc?

Reloaders, please indulge me with your experiences.

Cheers!

I can't really say i've noticed any quality drop in Weatherby brass in the last 20 years. But then again I can't really say I have been watching too cloesely.

I got some factory loads with a 257 I bought. I dont know how old they were but it was the 100 grain hornady bullet. Several of these had the primer fall out when I ejected them. The last brass I bought was PMC stuff.
