Hey all the Weatherby PA-08 caught my attention the other day but I can't find much on it. I hear Weatherby makes great rifles and PA-08 is a decent priced shotgun.

Has anyone shot, have opinions/reviews or can direct me to some good reviews on the gun.

Also can one get a rifled barrel for it? Preferably with open sights...

I would mostly hunt deer with it. Most shots under 100 yards. May tag the odd grouse.
 
Excellent rifles for sure, but they have a habit of discontinuing their shotguns every few years, so support down the road may be questionable.

I also don't think they make their own shotguns either. If you're looking to hunt deer, I would get either and 870 with a slug barrel (smooth or rifled) or one of those H&R single shot and be done with it.
