Weatherby PA-459 - Any other owners?

Hi,

I picked up a PA-459 about a year ago after much debate about barell length, calibre & removability of chokes and ghost ring sights.
I would have preferred a Remington Tactical - however it was right around the time covid started and ALL the "tactical" guns were being scooped up as we anticipated the oncoming horde of plague zombies.
The PA-459 became available and it seemed to fit the bill.
I'd like to think I don't have any regrets with the purchase... but I keep wondering if I didnt shoot myself in the foot by not waiting (and paying more) for the Remington for the simple reason of parts availability.

Is there anyone out there that owns a PA-459 that can speak to the firearm with respect to durability, reliability, part availability/interchangeability etc?

I'm not truly interested in the "shoulda bought an 870/Mossberg etc and so forth" as I've already had that conversation with myself enough :)

Very good pump shotgun. You did not compromise on quality. As for parts availability, if it breaks, there isn't much out there.
You could try tracking down an Armsan dealer for parts, that's who made the gun.
 
Thanks for that. Ive seen one seller from the states that has some things in stock occasionally - but considering some of the parts I'd want can't be imported I suspect I'd have to look elsewhere.
I was hoping someone out there could confirm if the Derya/Canuck parts were interchangeable. Some of the blow up diagrams look similar but I dont wanna mess with that :)

Nope different design
The Armsan pumps aren’t the same action as most Turkish pumps. Buttstocks may fit, but not forends. Canuck has a relationship with Armsan (or did) but they never imported a gun with this action.
 
Thanks for the advice/tips/info all - as much as it seems like I got something solid, sadly it doesn't seem like I can accessorize like an 870 owner can >sad face<
That being said - anyone wanna trade me their Remington Express Tactical for a PA-459 with +2 extension? :D :D :D ... no takers... ok.
