Weatherby SA-08 12 G?

I almost bought the weatherby today after holding one, until the very knowledgeable sales guy told me about how the gun is cast slightly for a right hand shooter and I am actually a left handed shooter. I am used to shooting right handed guns, but aparently some shotguns made for europians, like the weatherby are cast backwards for us lefties, but the US made mossbergs are straight. Guess I'm gonna have to keep looking, keeping in mind the possibility of cast.

Can anything bad happen if you do that?

I don't know. If i was going that route i wouldn't shoot super heavy loads for fear of more wear.

I wouldn't recomend that route though. Look, im as absent minded as the next guy but these cylinders are not really an issue. How often do you go out and not know what your going to be hunting. Even if you do go on a mixed hunt just shoot game loads through your heavy cylinder and you'll be fine. the light cylinder is really for target loads. If your hunting ducks and grouse you need to possess only steel anyways and most any steel load will cycle the heavy tube. If your going on a grouse only kinda deal put the light cylinder in and shoot target loads if you must, or just use game loads. It only takes around 20 seconds to swap them, so if your going for a long trip just take both of them in a secure container. The two cylinder system works 100 % reliably for me and i am by far not the most organized guy in the room
