Weatherby SA-08 Semi Auto

Great guns for the buck I have them in 12, 20 & 28ga's -- they all work great and pop out any ejected hull with authority - Don't know how they will stand up over years of shooting but judging from the over impression of quality, I expect years of successful use. They are virtual clones of the old & respected Beretta 300 series. Some of the B guns were ammo fussy on light loads -- The SA-08 mitigates this by giving the shooter a choice of two gas pistons for both target and field loads -- these function perfectly.
luck, John

I bought myself a synthetic waterfowl camo version, no problems what so ever, love the gun, just have had a bit of carbon build up on the piston sliding area at the top, just need to scrape it away to switch out the pistons, yet ive been using pretty dirty ammo in it and feeds and ejects everything. No problems so far, have put about 3-400 rounds through it, and just only cleaned it, patterns great too. If you want it, you should get the Sa08 or the Pa08, both great shotguns

I have one in 12 ga and love it. Probably 200 rounds of 3 inch magnums through it. I feel like it should last my lifetime.

Has anyone seen any other barrels for these shotties? I would love to have a short barrel for a camp gun.

I don't have one, but I have handled them and shot a few rounds of skeet and clays with them... They are a solid gun and feel very nice at the shoulder and at the shot...I am sorely tempted by the 28 gauge, but my 1100/28 is a very jealous girl.
