Weatherby SA-08 semi

I bought a new weatherby sa-08 synthetic semi auto 12 guage. I have put around 1000-1500 rounds through it so far, kept it clean (except I have never dissassembled the trigger package)

Lately, when firing 3" magnum's (with the heavy load gas piston) the safety will sometimes get knocked into the safe position after my first or 2nd shot, causing to miss an opportunity at a goose.

Anyone have any info/feedback on this (not your brand loyalty, looking for constructive advice on how to reslove this)

Good point.
Do these shotguns allow the reversal of the safety mechanism?

Yes, I am a lefty, but the safety is right handed. I haven't looked into changing anything in the trigger group
