I came across a used SA-08 upland 20gage today and was wondering what your take is on it...$650, excellent shape, only comes with a full choke, its for my wife for more of a plinking gun(clays)

Good guns but price seems high for a used one, especially with missing parts. If its just for recreational use, you can buy a brand new synthetic version for about $100 less.

I bought wood stocked SA-08's in 12 and 20 gauge at Wholesale in Regina about two months back for $565+tax, each. Nice shotguns. They were on sale. Cabela's were a way more! :)

It's my go to gun for upland. Bought it used from my old man after he picked up a Benelli Legacy in 28. This is a 20 gauge, wood stock, and I have taken pheasants, sharpies, ruffies, huns and chukar with it. Nice light gun, and it seems to work for me. Have had it a few seasons - can't remember what I paid though.
