Weatherby SAS (Semi -Auto Shotgun)

Just picked up a next to new Weatherby SAS in Mossy Oak. Italian made Semi -auto and I wanted to use it for Sporting Clays as the^price was right.

Anyone have any experiece with these shotguns? It seems to be a discontinued model with Weatherby ...

Any info would be great.

I got one last year. The first semi-auto shotgun I've owned. I have not had any problems with it. It's gone "bang" everytime I've pulled the trigger and I hit what I aim at. I was looking at semi shotguns around the $900 - $1200. I thought the SAS was the best fit. I like the magazine cut off. So, if you're hunting ducks and see some geese coming in, you can swap out the #2 for a BB.
