I've noticed weathery has a reasonably priced semi auto shotgun. Any of you use one ?

I could read reviews but I always find direct oppinions more valuable. So are these guns nothing more than cheap junk with a fancy name or are they a decent value ?

Thanks

The guy at Wanstalls told me that one of his importer friends has tried to make his weatherby jam or malfunction by riding it hard and never cleaning it. So far its been over a year and he has never cleaned it, nor had any problems of any kind. That put me one step closer to buying a Turkish shotgun.

Obviously you have made your own informed opinion on the question.
I am sure it will do more than its part in any avenue you choose to put it through and do better than you.
If I didnt already have a 20g auto I would buy one to go with my Mrk.XXII

I don't understand. At this point I have no opinion I was trying to find information based on other peoples experiences.

The Weatherby rifles have been made in a few different places, including the USA, Germany, Japan, and some(Mk 5) again in the USA. In the case of the Mark 5, quality has been maintained through these changes and most folks differ on which manufacturer is/was best. These shotguns are made in Turkey and quality on Turkish guns has been spotty, I understand there's a couple of makers and i don't know one from the other , but I don't care for the ones I've seen. To compare Weatherby rifles with these Turkish Shotguns wouldn't be wise, of course it's your dollar.
