Weatherby Vanguard 2 review

Sounds like the gun writer reviews were actually factual. Thanks for the input guys. I am looking at one in 308win.
 
They're wonderful rifles. Someone mention the Savage Trophy Hunter. These rifles are in totally different classes in terms of design, materials used, fit and finish. The Vanguard s2 is the one you want. FAR superior.
 
Bought a S1 in 308 (wood sporter stock) for 450 when they went on sale when the S2 was announced. Liked it enough that I picked up an S2 in 223 at the Easter gun show in Calgary today.

Prophet River was awesome to deal with.

Just ordered one in 308. Only $515 best price I could find. Now the waiting. I'll give a report once I get it. Thanks for the input.
