Weatherby vanguard feeding issues.

Hi

As the title says, i have a weatherby in .270 win. It has a plastic box magazine that seems to fail to fully secure to the rifle. The front end of the magazine clicks into the rifle however the back end has some play in it?
This causes the bolt to occasionally slide over the cartridge rather than grabbing it. There any fix to this or am i going to have to phone up weatherby?

Id give them a call. I have an internal one on mine but the damn things been tough as nails and flawless inoperation. Im sure theyll have a fix or will take care of it.

Check your magazine catch for any obstructions and also look at the mag as well. If there is any wear on the catch tab that is causing the play you might need a new one.

I had a Vanguard that I converted to removable mag, the bolt would slide over the second and third shell, I had to take the clip apart and stretch the spring, after that it was good.
