Weatherby Vanguard or Remington 700

The Vanguard comes with a factory target ! Ask to see it before buying , I did with my 257 WBY. Out of the 5 there mine had the best grouping 5/8" @ 100 yds. It will shoot well under and inch all day long if I do my part . The Remington is a crap shoot . You either get a good one or you don't. You can also get a SUB-MOA Vanguard , 1" or less @100yds. It has a better stock than the standard one.

There is a Weatherby package, synthetic, coming out with a Bushnell 3200.

223 and 22/250 for sure. Not sure of what else.

$699.

Not sure what the gun model is though.

The gun that you are talking about is a synthetic blued vanguard and I am pretty surethere is about fifteen calibers that it is out with. The package that comes with the 3200 elite just depends which distributor the dealer is getting there weatherby rifles from.

My choice would be the Rem. 700, for accuracy, trigger and aftermarket parts, that is if they fit me equally well.

i have a Weatherby vanguard in 300. mag, excellent rifle i would rec omened it to any and all, the action is nice and smooth, nice fit, i would as recommend a bi-pod. this rifle is rock solid with one. Were I live there is a 600 yard outdoor range, nice to hear the dong at 200.300.400.500 yards.

Ive got a Vanguard .243 and a SPS DM 30-06. My Vanguard is great, trigger is fine..zero creep my SPS is OK but the finish is terrible, the mag is hard to remove but it shoots around the 1" mark which is perfect for deer hunting.
I bought the SPS knowing I will customize it so its not a big deal. I would lean to the Vanguard if you have no plans on customizing and The SPS if you plan on a future build.

Cheers!!
