Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 sale 43% off

I'm still on the fence.....I have nice rifles in .223/.308/30'06 already, no use for a .270....had it been a .280Rem or a 7mm/08 I'd bite. That leaves me a .243 which I don't have.....but really don't need as I have a .223 and a few 6.5x55's....
Plus I just bought another Husky sporter in 8x57 last week. Blah, hate passing on deals like this lol

I like keeping a new gun around for a trader.

Hey Boomer if you want one in the available calibers, I'm going through Calgary in a week or so I could grab you one and send it up to you. I'm seriously thinking about one in 243 and run 'er out to 6-284 as the one I have now is shot out (imagine that). For 400 bucks you can't afford to rebarrel and they come in 243 with a 24" barrel............perfect. Let me know, I could run one out to 6-284 for you too.......

PM sent.

lol...the definition of a "good deal": something you don't need at a price you can't refuse.

Yep....safe is full of them. Lol
I'll probably use this one though....even at $400, I don't think it would be a quick sell on the EE with the flamer stock lol

I picked one up around the new year in 300 wm for about the same. Sept mine has a black Hogue stock and it says Howa on it :)

I have been looking for a vanguard s2 in 300 Win Mag since last year and the cheapest from WSS sale price is about $540. If you got on the buy more save more event you probably end up saving another 75$ (Since the purchase would be over 500$) so you end up paying about 465$ +tax for the gun. That was before WSS started to pice their guns with the new exchange rate.

Picked up one in 243 yesterday for my gal. One heck of a rifle for $400. And she likes the stock as well. Even I don't mind the stock.

Actually the stock ' grows ' on you after a while..... yesterday I was all for painting it and now I'm going to leave it as is..
We would be hard pressed to find an all-round better bargain...
