Go for it,you can't go wrong.I have had 2 S2 's and 2 S1. I like the 2 stage trigger on the s2.I put a rifle basix trigger on a s1 and loved it for target but not so much for hunting.
The s1 plastic stocks are flinsey,I just bedded a buddies s1 25-06 and what a difference it made,it is consistently doing 1/2 " groups at 100 yards or better now.
I am in the process of bedding my s2 stock and hoping to improve it a little,not that it isn't a shooter but it made such a difference on buddies rifle I figure it can't hurt to do mine.
The price has come up on them but I still think they are worth it.
