Weatherby Vanguard vs Savage

I have a savage 16 in 270wsm, the recoil is very manageable and the accutrigger is very good

I like the savage and then this year weatherby is actually going to chamber the 25-06 in the vangaurd!!!,Instead of just the 257.

I have had both numerous Vanguards and Savages. I prefer the Weatherby's to the savage, they feel better to me and with my rifles all my Weatherbys were more accurate than my Savages.

Unless you are target shooting all day, the difference between a rifle that shoots 1" groupings or 1 1/2" isn't going to mean a whole lot when hunting.

Vanguard would be my choice. Much better fit and finish and trigger is more than good enough for a hunting rifle. Don't need a 2oz benchrest trigger to shoot deer
