The price of these 6 bolt tactical rings and the tactical bases are like $30 each.. pretty low. Are they good quality? They look cool but looks and function don't always align.

I searched up the forum and lots of the guys who know seem to suggest weaver products...

They are garbage. I picked up a pair of the weaver Tac rings and comapred them to the TPS rings I had already purchased and the differences are HUGE. Quality of machining and fit and finish on the weaver rings is terrible. I cut one of them up to make my anti cant indicator. I would not mount a scope with them. TPS rings are the best bang for the buck right now.

The TPS rings I used on a Warne tactical rail did not require lapping. Perfect alignment on the rail. I will not use two piece mounts any more.

I've never used their "tactical" rings, I tend to figure that any product that even uses the word now days is shilling a sales gimmick. I've used their regular sporter mounts and rings, on rifles up to and including a custom lightweight 340 wby, and they have always worked well for me. Not much for pretty, but they work well. FWIW - dan
