I have an old scope and it appears to have sliding covers on it,i don't want to force things so i hope someone can tell me how to access the windage and elevation screws without breaking it?

Sorry to do this but i couldn't get my photo's on. This is the same one though.Any ideas?

those caps are little rubber or plastic caps to get them off you just turn them a 1/4 turn or so then get you finger under the small end and lift it off. if I remember they do not unscrew but just fit in a groove and you just pull them out it been a long time but this is how I remember them .

hope this helps,
Brownie

The scope covers appear to be the sloped, streamlined looking plastic covers. They are removed by turning the cover to the side 90 degrees and lifting. They are simply friction fit. Sometimes good to be older than the scope!

Many thanks to all, i tried sliding them but refused to do the screwdriver thing and ruin the scope. Got to try that now. Great place on here for info.
