Hi, im looking for some opinions of experience.. Im looking for a scope for my custom built 223 varmint rifle and im looking at the weaver classic v line.. Not sure if i want 6-24 or the 4-16.. Ive heard that the v24 isnt all that clear at higher magnification but i would like a mil dot reticle maybe does anyone know if the cross hairs on their mil dots are decently thin or are they thick like yout very center crosshairs between the mildots.. Im prob only going to be doing a little bit of 100-200 meter bench shooting and my coyote shots will be 400 yards and in.. And i might use it some for deer hunting if i see a deer while i have it with me in deer season.. What is my best option guys? I would also consider their dual x reticle is its not to thick.. As i hate a thick set of cross hairs.. And i would also consider fine crosshair with dot but i heard its hard to pick up movin targets with the fine crosshair with dot.. And info or discussion on this would be greatly appreciated.. I have no way to look thru one of these scope before i order one and im ver nervous to buy something i havent experienced.. There for i might end up buying a zeiss 4.5-14x50.. As i know what they look like thru the lens.. But more $$ to spend..
