just wondering if anyone has had any bad experience's with these rings? I just put a set on my elite 6500 on a 300 RUM. Before i tightened the cross-lock i put a dab of lock-tite on it just to maybe helper a lil. Should be alright eh?

I have a set on my Marlin 1895G. I'm running some pretty hot loads through that 45-70 and the rings are holding my FXII on perfectly. I lapped them, torqued them down, and dropped a dab of blue locite on all the screws. I think they're excellent rings.

We have extensive experience with most ring and base manufactures. The Grand Slams are the best steeL ring and base that Weaver makes and we often use them. The dimensionS are not as precise as Leupold but since we lap and sometimes hand ream our rings they end up working out pretty good. Decent product for the money. Phil
