Does anyone else out there like these scopes or is it just me? I own 2 in the 3x10(40mm). I find them compact, light, good rubber on the magnification dial and the optics are clear and bright. I actually like them more than my VX2 3x9.

I'm interested to hear what others think about the Grand Slam line or comparisons they have made to other scopes. Also where is a good place to look for Grand Slams. (Other than Wholesale Sports) Recently I've been forced to start looking at Ebay. I'd also be interested in hearing opinions on the larger Grand Slam with Adjustable Objective for a varmint gun and how they compare to the l Nikons or Leupolds, etc.

Thanks. Art

I had a 5-20 & really liked it, should never have let it go with my gun :(
Do you cruise E-bay ca or .com for scopes? Problems getting shipped across the border?

Grand Slam

Hi, I look at Ebay canada and have bought Leupolds off there before, no problems. I'm always looking for Weavers but they seem unpopular in Canada. Too bad, because as much as I love Leupold and others, it's nice to buy something different once in a while and I really do like these Weavers. They are now offering some new models on their Website. A superslam and a 40/44 series. Unfortunately once again, I'll have to probably look stateside to find them. Art

I have three Grand Slams. Two are the 3-10 x 40 mm. As you mentioned, I find these scope very nice and compacted. I also have the 6- 20 x 40 mm for my varmint rig.The optics on these scopes excellent for the price. I found these scope had clearer optics then some of the more expensive scope I had at the time.

I’m not sure where you can buy them now. I purchased my last one from S.I.R. with a reduced price because they wouldn’t carry them anymore...

i like the Grand Slams scope rings lol
