How good are they. Want to mount one one a 30-06.
They are 1/2 the price of the 4x Leupold are they 1/2 as good.

Fred, I have two of the new generation K6 scopes that are made in Japan: one on a 222 SAKO, and one on a 30-06 Husqvarna. They do the job quite well, with crisp bright optics and reliable adjustments.

Would expect the K4 to be no different.

The law of diminishing returns definitely applies to optics. Twice the price of a Weaver K4 can get you a scope that is better, but certainly not twice as good. And if you buy it new, it has a lifetime warranty. The current made in Japan Weavers are good scopes, and their K series may be the best value available in a fixed power scope.
