weaver rail on tactical shotgun - low or tall profile?

I'm looking to buy a weaver rail for this gun:

so that can I put an RDS on it.

I am trying to decide between these two:

Are there considerations for choosing either, or is it just a matter of personal preference? Basically I want whatever will provide the best accuracy (the lower one, I figure) and look the most badass (the taller one, I assume).

Your thoughts?

I am also open to alternatives.

I installed the Millet mount on my Win 1300. (reciever was not tapped for scope) which worked well as it uses the existing holes for the pins in the trigger mech / reciever. That was 2 years ago and it is still going strong. I shoot mostly mag loads & slugs with this .12ga. I think it was worth it.

i have the mesa tactical for my 590a1.... but of course i have not put it on yet, i am waiting until i got the $$ for an eotech, until then it is the ghost rings.
