Hi all
A Speed Beez loader for a Governor 410 revolver works on a Webley Mk1, the cartridges have the same rim diameter. Cut the center spindle/spacer of the loader flat to make it work best, not metal so it's quick.
The Prideaux speedloader is not a $650.00 requirement now. Purchase six for $293 USD shipped to Canada, ten minutes work on each one to make them work perfect.
See attached photos.

Cheers
Duran

Dam, fast shipping with no hassles even. Two of them just arrived today and though I haven't gone to the range they seem like they are the Grail! The rounds snap in and are held snugly and then all pop out into the cylinder with a good push with the thumb. This company should market them to Webley owners, I'm sure they would sell a bunch. Think I might order some more.

Do you know if it would work on a S&W 1st model Hand-Ejector (the Triple-lock)?
I don't know, this model works with Colt 45 and 455 Webley. Is yours in these calibers? or 45 shoe, 44 Rus...maybe look up the cartridge rim diameters. I bought one on a whim to try and when it fit, i got six more. They measure 1,1/8 inch across center to center between any two opposing cartridges. Check your cylinder to see!

Man this really makes me want to consider running an antique Webley in IPSC for ####s and giggles.
No doubt. My MK1 is cut for 45ACP so I run moon clips and made a Kydex holster and rig for it.
Unfortunately I drifted away from IPSC during covid and never did a match with it. But I’m starting to feel that I’m missing it so likely will move back to it so maybe I still will shoot a match without a “firearm”, lol.
The real trick I think will be mastering a completely unique reload…barrel is easy to break 90, you really need to drop your trigger finger arm while you open it and as you need to grip the short barrel to do it so sweeping the muzzle is potentially a thing.
Very different from a standard revolver, some of the RO’s would likely be quick with a DQ…
