Hey guys,
A buddy asked me about this revolver and all I could say was "Duh, I'm not sure". He wants to know if it's an official antique or not.

It looks like a Webley and seems to be a 45 cal, has a 6" barrel, and it says "Wilkinson & Sons, Pall Mall, London". There's a 6 point star with "HW" in the center, at the rear left of the frame below barrel.

Any ideas?

You have what is commonly referred to as a "Webley Wilkinson". I'll let the others chime in on the markings.

Winston Churchill carried one of these in the Boer War.

It is a Webley Wilkinson second model c1888 with the Pryse barrel catch. Henry Wilkinson and Son the swordmakers also retailed revolvers to officers including special models made for them by Webley.
