I am looking to buy a Webley .455 revolver. Can anyone give me any tips on what to look for, markings, price, etc. I don't know much about them except I like the way they look. Thanks:nest:

Webley Mk. VI revolvers in .455 appear fairly often in the Equipment Exchange Forum.
Cartridges can sometimes be hard to find. There are some that have had the back of the cylinder ground down so that they will take .45 ACP cartridges in "moon" clips (or .45 Auto Rim without the need for clips).

To buy ammo you are looking at $60 a box of 50, you will need to reload, you can use .45acp cast bullets and starline makes brass for them. Lee has a die set for .455 as well. Start with a Mk VI as they are the cheapest and most common.
