Webley bulldog parts

"...can't locate any parts for it..." Not surprising considering it hasn't been made for 130 years or so. You'll likely have to make any parts you need.

Well I’ll tell you what. In the past when I was hard up for work I used to do some handgun work. But I don’t do it no more, PERIOD. So don’t ask. But one of the other smiths here might help if you talk nice enough and flash em $100 bux. If memory serves the hand and the hand spring are made from one piece in that gun and are as hard as a spring obviously. You have the old hand so this is what the smith could do for you. It won’t be original but it will go boom. There will be a shelf left on the hand where the spring broke off. The hand is put into the mill and a .025 tho hole is drilled into the hand with a carbide drill by the shelf where the spring broke off. Lee Valley Tools used to carry the drills. A piece of .025 tho music wire is glued into the hole with a product called Loc Tite 380 Black Max. Then the smith screws around bending the wire and putting in shorter or longer pieces for two or three hours until the gun kinda works. The wire can be removed by heating with a Bic lighter until the Loc Tite burns out. Try it yourself at your own risk!!!!! If you destroy the hand you will never find another. I wouldn’t even care to quote what it would cost to make a new hand! Rod
