Is there a model or date stamped anywhere on there? Post detailed and clear pictures for assistance.

If it is designed to shoot rimfire or centre-fire ammo, then it doesn't matter how old it is.

There are two forums and folks there are highly knowledgeable about British firearms:

If you have any question, just post it, they are very helpful.

The Webley is most likely a MK 4 in .38-200 (.38 Smith and Wesson) Take a look on the right or left side of the frame, if it says "War Finish" it is a WWII gun. The Enfield will be either a No2 MK 1, No 2 MK 1*, No 2 MK ** or a No 2 MK 1***. If it has a hammer spur, it is a Mk 1 *, no spur, and when you pull the trigger and then release it, the hammer comes off the frame slightly, then it's a Mk 1*. If, when you release the hammer the hammer does not come off the frame it is a No 2 MK1**, the No2 MK 1*** is a MK 1 ** modified to MK 1 * status., Is that clear?
