If I were you I'd take some pictures and record the serial. Then request an antique letter from the RCMP cfc.

Well maybe and maybe not but really was just a suggestion. Quite frankly I've bought antiques with letters and they have been through many hands. They know they exist but not who has them. No diff than an NR.
