Folks:

Please forgive the cross-post - this has been on the pistol forum for almost a week with zero responses. Thought I'd try here and see if the milsurp guys had any ideas...

I have a Mk VI (1916 mfg.) in decent condition - finish is typical wartime "Hurry up, Cecil" with some machine marks, etc. Bore is excellent, grips unchipped, very tight lockup. Comes with an issue canvas holster (C broad arrow marked) and 50 brand new, never loaded .455 brass (Hornady, IIRC). It would also go with a copy of Skennerton's book, just for poops and giggles.

What would be a fair price for the whole shebang?

Thanks,

Dan

South of the border, you are looking at more like $500 in green money
Add another $100 for the book, or close to it.:D

Of course you can't ship the Webley down here as its an "unsafe gun" (no transfer bar.)

I am simply horrified that the British fought TWO world wars with an "unsafe revolver"
