Webley mk1 45acp TrailBoss loads report

Another great powder in a number of antiques is Vihtavoury Tin Star. Bulky like Trail Boss, but quite a bit slower than it. I think that makes it a better match with the old antique pistols versus TB. And although the price seems high, you get .5kg in Tin Star versus only. 25kg for TB. I love Trail Boss, and use lots of it, but it is a very fast powder. Way too fast for some of the weaker guns.

Never seen this stuff before, but if I find it, I'll try it. TB is a fast powder no doubt, but it has been excellent in my Swiss revolver and Martini Cadet, though neither are considered "weak" by antique standards.
