I've got a MKII en route from the States, unfortunately it's been shaved to .45acp. I was wondering if anybody is using modified .45 colt cases, I've read that the rim is too thick for .455, but how about the acp mod? Measurements would be appreciated.

Are you refering to the PMs about selling me a MKI in NOVEMBER? Well, I did pm you asking if you were still interested in selling the one you showed me on Jan 13, and a week or so later, no response and I'm pretty sure I see it sold. This auction ended on Jan 20. Should I clear all my activities with you? Who approached whom with a pm anyway? Anything else you want to air out? I'm truly sorry, I didn't realize you had exclusive rights to gun broker and all things Webley there...

Did you say MK II? If so, I'd stay way down as these were made for Mk I blackpowder loads. I.m not sure if it was MK IV or V before they were built strong enough for hotter smokeyless loads. I use about 21 grains of 3F in my Mk VI. using cases cut down to ACP length.
no I don't have any rights to anything nor have I ever thought I did, I guess I just extend too much courtesy to others and get fooled sometimes. I confuse someone wanting something with an extension of comradery. Sad really.
If you had told me your were willing to pay 850 dollars for a pitted loose gun trust me I would of sold you something LOL. It is just when when someone says I only have a grand to spend and I need something great that aint happening quick. That guns frame would have ended up with you anyway it just would have a .455 cylinder and a mint bore.

First off, $850 was the buy it now price, not what I paid. Secondly, I had your asking cash price in my hand when I sent you the last pm, dunno if you missed my pm or what, but when I saw you sold it without at least dropping me a line, I kinda took it as an eff you. I certainly was not trying to pump someone for info and the screw them on an auction, I thought enough time had passed between. I didn't really give it a second thought until I saw your post last night. I apologize if you felt I poked you in the eye.
