I have a transition one of these, Turkish etched with old webley UK parts.
It's beautiful, and will cut a hole in a 12 gauge shells' brass at 50 yds.

I picked up one of those Benjamin Nitro Piston in 25cal, it is an impressive hunting air rifle, Ive been airgunning for close to 20 years and wish I got a 25 sooner.

I have an HW80K in .22 I always fancied putting a .25 barrel on it but at just under 600fps it would have rainbow trajectory good for perhaps 30 yards.For grouse shooting.......Harold

I found a BNIB (Webley) Patriot in .177/4-12x50 Nikko scope combo. Would like a .22 but for $299 I may pull the trigger on it......
Is it true this air rifles are "scope breakers"?

Buy it, shoot some heavy ammo with it, what is the expected fps in 177 Patriot? I've never heard of nikko scopes, russian?

The .177 Patriot is "rated" at 1200fps. Never heard of Nikko scopes either but I'm guessing they are lower end European glass....

Zeroed the old Patriot Transition at 20 yds. Easily hits the 1/2 in. mickey caps and pulverizes the brick behind.
Beeman silver jets, The leapers holds up well to the BIG spring pounding. Still wish for UK markiings, but next best thing.
