The Webley Mk IV was not a sidearm in the Great War. The British didn't even adopt .38-200 until the 1920s.

The Steyr M1912's are pretty rad. It's like someone described a colt 1911 over the phone to someone who spoke marginal english and presto! I like mine, finding ammo is the expensive part.

Yup. And with serial number it's very easy to check the year ranges of these ones. I'm looking for nearly unused ones from 60s-70s but it seems like I won't get an answer unless I buy one, and distributor seems to think they're from WWI, a time when the 38/200 variant didn't exist. Guess I'll pass.
