Webley Senior Trigger

I have a .22 Webley Senior in excellent condition. Beautifully made. But the trigger pull is very heavy.
Is there a method to reduce the trigger weight to reasonable level?

There must be or luck of the draw. I have two; one with an excellent trigger and one with a heavy pull. I will check back hoping there is a way.

I was going to ask if he had inspected it since the trigger on mine is really good. I guess luck of the draw comes into play with them. Mine is very old but nearly mint, I even have what looks like an original holster? I have been looking very passively for a rebuild kit with new seals and such under the assumption mine need replacement after 70+ years so I haven't shot it much. The trigger is barely 3lbs if I were to guess.

Spares should be available from the UK.
The mechanism is very simple. A vertical sear blocks the piston, pivoted trigger pulls it down out of engagement.

The trigger rebound spring can get bent and increase trigger pull. Easy fix with new small spring sometimes even from a pen.
