How do you tell if these are antique?

The WG army etc. the CFC goes to serial # so you will have to contact a tech. at the cfc. don't listen to the person on the phone if they tell you it isn't you need to speek to a tech.

If it has the church steeple style flutes on the cylinder it's pre-1893.

This one i just sold is a Model 1892 has that stamped on the gun above the Cylinder on the Frame.
+ its got the Pre 1893 Church steepeled Cylinder.
I think the Ser # cut off for model 1896 Army models is around 9000 tho i could be wrong.
It depends on the Model??
