MOOSE TAG / MOOSE LICENCE

I have a moose hunting licence for tomorrows hunt.
I already rented a cabin and bought a new gun
Unfortunately I did not realize when I bought the gun and rented the cabin that this is going to be on the same day as my wedding and honeymoon weekend trip, so I can't go.

If you are interested and want to go instead of me, it's at the Saint Ann's Catholic Church at 5 PM.

She will be the one in the white dress and you can ask her where the honeymoon trip will be. I don't remember exactly where it is I'm just so excited to get my first moose license in 12 years.

P.S
I promise to pay it forward next year if anyone is in my shoes.

UPDATE:
A guy named Ryan has sent me and message and said he will be at the church tonight. I'm really happy that someone is going to marry my fiancee/ex fiancee and hopefully she will understand that I had to get my priorities straight. Best of luck to both of you!

I also want to wish good luck to all the other lucky hunters out there who got their moose licence!

Cheers!!!

I made the sad mistake of marrying during the hunting season. [first marriage]
There was, subsequently, a fair amount of "dialogue" when I was hunting on our anniversary.

When that union melted down after 20 years, I vowed that if I remarried....no hunting season anniversaries.

Been married to my present spouse for 25 now, and our anniversary is in June, when no hunting is open here.
Much better scenario all around. Dave.

Yeah but June is the start of the Chinook fishing on the Skeena...I think the best wedding date would be Jan. or Feb. :)

I had the for thought not to get married in hunting season. but a wedding cost me the animal I was after. a coupe of years ago the wifes sister got married in sept. right in the middle of our bear season here in NS. did not want to go to wedding and after doing a bait run and camera check the next day. I discovered that a bear I had been baiting/hunting for 7 years(never seeing it in daylight) showed up at 2pm and stayed at bait until well after dark. I was really pissed.
