I had not seen a thread about this yet, so I thought I'd add it to the discussion. As far as I can tell, this does not use an AR compatible lower:

For smaller hunters like myself, this seems a lot more manageable than some of the other similarly available products. Does anyone know if we're able to bring these into the country? It does take standard AR magazines, and I'm not sure if that new rule only applies to semi-auto's or not.

If this is not importable, I think lessons could be learned from its design. The lower profile fore-grip cleans up the lines of the rifle, and I like that it uses normal AR stocks and grips.

Thanks for posting this. Looks like it has some decent features especially the trigger. I wonder how this would compare to a Troy PAR and if it’s worth it being a 100% more than either the troy or Tapain as it’s almost 3000AUD.

I’d be surprised if they would be under 3000 canadian. Realistically I would expect it to be north of 3k in order to make it worth while to import once an importer factors in import permit, costs, taxes and freight from Australia.

I looked at their website and the rifle is 3140 AUD which is 2871 CAD. This is a hard pass for me. I'll wait for a reputable Canadian company to come up with a pump action rifle and shoot my straight pull rifles in the meantime.

Obviously the reputable part disqualifies Crusader Arms and their garbage PND rifle.

I've heard some people have had great luck with the PND. $2900 is certainly expensive, I wonder if economics of scale, or some kind of deal/local assembly could bring the price down to something a bit more reasonable.
