WEEKEND SALE - JAN. 3, 4 & 5, 2025 ONLY !

Did any other buyers get a surprise email requesting additional shipping fees in order to ship the rifles ?
That's an additional $230 on top of the $60 already charged at checkout 5 days prior, to a non-rural postal code that isn't subject to any exclusions or restrictions from any other retailer. I.e. a 383% increase to $290 total shipping cost on 4 firearms.

Your website says "taxes and shipping calculated at checkout" and there's no mention of anything to the contrary in the order confirmation emails. Is the tiny question mark next to the word taxes that has a pop up bubble when clicked on the disclaimer that the shipping charge isn't actually the shipping charge ?

I have never encountered a retailer who has done this, in any industry.

Retailers are obviously free to charge whatever they want for shipping. No problem there. But you understand customers use the quoted price to make the decision to buy or not, right ? I mean it was bad enough to have to input the pal info -including uploading a DL photo - for every item just to be able to add it to the cart, but if buyers have to play shipping roulette on top of that, then your website is absolute madness.

I ordered 1 shotgun and only had to pay $30 to interior BC. They used a shipping company called GLS which I've never heard of. It does not inspire confidence one bit.

I wanted to give my experience with CRAFM. I did find it inconvenient to enter your PAL and upload identification in order to add firearms to your cart. But I did not experience any increase in shipping post purchase and although it did ship from a nonstandard shipping company, I received it earlier than anticipated.
Overall no issues.

No issues with my order except for some handling marks on the shotgun barrel. Hard to tell if it was on display or something, but for the price I won't complain much. The website, I agree, not the most user friendly but hey, it's okay. If you're buying just one item and not rushing to grab everything you can until it's too late, you shall be fine :) Also, I know at least a few other sites with the same 'enter PAL prior to add to cart' workflow, so it's not uncommon.

I wasn't asked to pay extra for shipping and I had no issues with delivery. The courier arrived in a branded truck, and asked for signature. Same experience as with any other carrier. I guess with Canada Post reducing services and not willing to handle certain items, we will be seeing more and more less known companies filling the void, and I have no issues with that.

One last word about extra shipping charges. This happened to me before. In my case, however, I could clearly see the message in my shopping cart saying that. And when it did happen, I had an option of cancelling my order for a full refund. Frustrating? Yes. End of the world? No.

Anyways, just thought I would share my experience :)
