Weight of AI chassis

I am wondering if anyone has an AI chassis with a 22" barrel in M40 contour on a Rem 700 short action. I am looking for the total weight. Either just the rifle, or the rifle and optics.

Mine weighs in around 14 lbs with a rem 700 sps-v, Harris bipod and bushnell 10x40 optics.

14 - 16 lbs depending on your choice of bipod and optics.

I had an AICS 2.0 with a nesika action and 22 inch barrel m40 contour with a nightforce scope and ultralight rings, and a bipod it came in at 17.25lbs. Th nesika had a little more meat then a remington but no more then a pound.

Mines hovering around 17 i believe, with trs-1 scope and leupy rings and a caldwell bipod

Thanks guys. I will be running a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10 and a Harris biopd. It sounds like I should have no problem staying under 18.15 lbs

Your weight limit would suggest you're building a rifle for F-TR, is that the case?

My Surgeon-AICS AX build, bare-bones, weighs in @ 10.2lbs.

That includes:
- The AX chassis
- a Kreiger 23" heavy varmint flutted barrel
- no scope, no rings
- no bipod
