weihrauch german revolvers

Not prohibited, just no importers, like Korth or Manurhin. Not a big enough market I guess. They seem to be very reasonably priced, but I have no idea what the qaulity level is like.

They would be marketed under "Arminius".

triebel.de and Waffen Frank have them in stock and they export from Germany.

If you do some research I'm sure you can find a few used ones floating around here in Canada.
 
I looked into getting one a these a little while ago. I was interested in their HW 9 ST model. I wasn't able to find anyone that imported them though (most people I talked to hadn't even heard of them). I tried emailing them as well to see if they could tell me where I could find one. That was around six weeks ago and they still haven't responded. If you manage to find them for sale in Canada, please share. Good luck.

I finally received a reply from Weihrauch. They apologized for the long delay in getting back to me which I thought was nice however, they did not answer any of my questions except to inform me that the model I was interested in is no longer in production. Oh well. I bought myself a Smith and Wesson 686 while waiting for a response from Weihrauch and I'm very pleased with it. If you are still trying to find one, again good luck to you.
