can a gunsmith fix a bolt on a single shot .22s?

the handle broke off at the base.

I would suggest Silver soldering over welding if possible.

Likely cheaper to buy another bolt. If it's a Cooey, they go around $25.00 in the EE forum from time to time....otherwise, a 'smith should be capable of fixing it too, but likely for more than $25.00.....

What type of single shot .22 is it?

Call Epps for a new(er) bolt. They've got buckets of old Cooey parts.
