While skinning my doe on Wednesay (deer was hanging head up), as I got to the area the front leg (what i would call the armpit), i found a small, nearly perfectly round solid ball of white tissue/fat. It was not attached and simply fell out. Was about the size of a marble. WHAT WAS IT? Also, around the same area, as i was skinning, a spray of a clear fluid (may have been slightly yellow like urine or greenish..was difficult to tell in the poor light of the garage) came out. This was near the "armpit" area as well. Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks

Nothing to worry about, a deer will often develop those cysts after an injury. Sorry, as for the fluid-filled swelling, I've never seen that. Do you have any pictures?

Old wound ,perhaps encapsulated bullet or foreign object .You would be surprised what a deer can survive. Horn punctures etc.

Without pictures nobody can tell you exactly what that was. Might be a cyst formed around a parasite, or around a foreign body (i.e bullet, piece of branch that poked under the skin and broke off), or a swollen lymph node which are often filled with liquid...

Sounds like you found a lymph node, which usually enlarge south(think gravity) of sources of infection, injury or inflamation. In humans the presence of a armpit lymph node is highly suspicious of chest or breast malignancies.
