So I ended up with a pile of old ammo and have been fairly successful identifying the majority of it. Am having a tough time with the following 4 cartridges and was hoping you guys may have some ideas...

#4 is most likely military based on the R-Arrow-L heads stamp and "II" but the bullet seems too short for 303, it necks down closer to the rim, and the Head is ?

Thanks for any ideas/pointers

Just checking my copy of Cartridges of the World
#1, going strictly visual, possibly 11.4x50r Brazillian Comblain M74 or 11x52r Netherlands Beaumont M71/78. The difference in diameter between the body and neck is not enough to be a 577/450, IMHO.
#2, possibly 43 Egyptian Remington? aka 11.43x50r
#3, X2 on the 10.4 Swiss. It was also loaded in a centerfire version, apparently.

Pretty sure that #2 is a 45-75 cartridge for the Winchester Model 1876. This cartridge was used by the NWMP in the 1880's. The lack of headstamp means it was made prior to 1882. I have an original and just measured it. The dimensions of mine are within a couple thou of yours, so I'm sure that #2 is a 45-75 cartridge.

Outstanding help guys.

I think I have them all figured out now and they are 43 Beaumont, 45-75, and 41 Swiss. There was some real wacky ones in this lot (along with lots surplus of 7.62 and 303 brass). I am not an ammo collector guy but I spied 14 x snider stubby rounds and at least one rolled brass MH case in the tray. The guy told me to take it all for $40. How could I say no!

I assume there is a typo on the second cartridge ... it should be 45-75 W.C.F. You got a good deal for $40 for that table full of old cartridges.
