Today at a garage sale I found a scope mount the includes the rings in its design. It is a take off mount that uses a pin with a strong spring to hold it on the rifle. That part of the mount screws onto a longer bridge mount that says 9930 on it. That is all the info I can get off of it and the person selling it was limited to saying $1 or $10 and the words Savage and he used his hands to show me a lever action movement. When I said 99 in french he said that was correct. Any idea what this mount is called or who made the thing.
Reason I am asking is it looks like the scope mount can be used with another bottom on adifferent kind of rifle if I could figure out who made it and check if they made different bridges for other makes of guns.
