I was going through my stuff and found 3 boxes of solid brass 175 grain 7mm bullets. I forgot I had them, but now remember that I bought them when I discovered ebay, back when you could buy bullets there (I never intended going hunting where solids were required). What weird stuff do you guys have?

Not much out of the ordinary. I have some Partition Gold 250 grs that I load up when someone wants to shoot my .338WM.:D

I also have a set of dies that I bought for a custom build one of these days. I figured it might give me the extra push to get it done, having the brass bullets and dies sitting here...

I have Herter's bullets in 270, 130 grain, as well as 70 grain HP in 6mm.
Also have part of a pound of Herter's #100 powder. This is just a hare faster than IMR4350.

I was digging through my bullet hoard about a couple months ago and found several hundred old CIL 160 gr. 270 cal. Kling-Kor soft points.
Just as clean as the day they were made so I made up a few test loads for my 270-08 and lo and behold a couple groups well under 3/4 MOA ! :)

Cruising through my reload bench the other day....
Found the first bullets I bought for reloading. They were for deer loads in my Husqvarna 243. There are 4, 100gn psp manufactured by CIL in 1968. BTW I'm still using the old single stage RCBS Jr2 that I started with wayyyyy back then. Still have the Husky, except it has had a Ron Smith barrel on it for the last 38 years. It still makes tiny groups.
I would venture to say that out of the box of 100, with 4 left that 70white tails and muley's tasted those.

But that is another story that will not be told.

After reading post went through bullet stock, found 3 boxes 170gr Speer Lapua Match bullets .309cal, and a box and a half 7mm 140gr solid copper Lost River bullets all from the ebay a few years ago
