Welcome to WASP Munitions, the newest factory reloader in Canada!

I'll try it but if its not as good or better then factory ammo I'll only buy once. I read tons praise for Wolf ammo, finally tired it and in my guns it does not shoot as good as factory ammo and I got a lot of light primer strikes. The little savings over factory ammo wasn't enough to justify buying it again. So I went back to factory ammo

What id really like to see is more 147gn 9mm ammo. I have only been able to buy one 1000rd case of American Eagle 147gn and that was the best ammo I have shot so far. The 147 is the ticket for me but I cant find any

I always recommend that people try a range of ammo every time they get a new handgun - depending on what you're looking for, what gun you're shooting, and your application, different ammo works well for different people.

getting into reloading components would be a GREAT way to get extra buisness,,,especially considering the volume of components you will be purchasing for your reloaded ammo buisness,,,i'm sure people would welcome a new high volume supplier,,if the prices are lower,,,

Awesome glad to hear there is another producer in Canada! You should produce cheaper match rifle ammo that is .223 with 69/77 gr bullets and .308 with 168/175 bullets. Match rifle ammo is retardedly expensive here. Shouldn't cost much more to produce and I'm sure there would be a good market for it!

Ohhhh Kate, I feel the ever present grasp on my wallet waning...tell me you have a deal with Can-Par similar to CanAM (over $200 free shipping). Often it's only the additional cost of shipping that keeps me from beating down your door.

i know how you feel, i would but a case in a heartbeat if the shipping was free.....

That is an option for sure as well all though I treat all my ammo as match grade :)
Every single round I produce is case gauged when inspected before I package.
I have been trying to deal with Hornady in the USA for some of there match Projectiles but its a slow process. Once there is a border involved things can get complicated.
Awesome glad you do! Can you get Sierra bullets? Probably a better choice for match rds than Hornady. Even Nosler would be a good choice as their match bullets are pretty much copies of the Sierras.

Great to see!

Provided shipping doesn't kill me out to NL, and it shoots well, I can see a good relationship in the future!

Perhaps take a look at some of the fairly popular rounds that are obsolete as well. A supply line of the following would open up some very interesting rifles to people that don't have the time, space or money to get into reloading. Perhaps just once per year runs for each of them so as to not interrupt your regularly prodced ammo. I'm sure if people knew there was a once a year batch of the following, you would sell out in a few weeks once word got around.

Keep in mind that every load needs to be documented and submitted to the govt for approval at no small cost. Once approved only the submitted load can be used. Runs of obscure calibres would have to be priced extremely high to be profitable.

Figured as much, but worth a try. Too bad that the Government stifles this sport so much with too many nanny state regulations and FEES!!! A supply of components to make all of the above would be the next best thing!!!! Very tough to find anything for the .351/.401 WSL and the .25/.30/32 Rem calibers.

Hello all. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ray Steuart with WASP Munitions. I am the Owner and Operator of the company. I have been reading the posts and glad to have some feed back. (good and Bad). I will be working with kate to provide the best quality Government certified Remanufactured ammo possible. My goal is to build safe , Quality ammo for the public. I am a active shooter and gun nut myself and understand cost are to high on factory ammo. I will work on having competitive pricing with my competitors (Wolf,BDX,Western). I'm more about quality then quantity. I will also be supplying some reloading components to Kate for those that would like to build there one ammo for personal use. I hope that you can give my product a chance and have some patience for the little guy just starting out.

Welcome Ray, this is good news!

I think getting into some 62 grain 223/556 asap would be a great idea. Doesn't seem like there is much 62g by the case out there right now.

Be interested in hearing more about what to expect from your rifle ammo in terms of accuracy? I've only ever (accidentally) bought 1x 50 round box of Remington remanufactured ammo before, and noticed it was an assortment of different brass.

Could you share some basic info here as to the differences between your ammo and other factory ammo? For example, I've been shooting 55g AE and 62g PMC and getting a consistent 2MOA +/-, where do you think your 55g would stack up?

Thanks for being the Little Guy!!!
