Anyone out there an artist in the raw with a mig/tig welder? At some point I know I'm going to need to have my lazer cut mags repaired, and just wondered if we have a talented individual who can neatly repair these stupid things.

It's for a STI GP6, and so far they are intact. Since I don't shoot indoors often, I may get by for a while before they begin to fail. However with just two tiny tabs representing less than 20% of the mag bodies diameter intact, I can't imagine they'll hold up forever.
Even if I replace them and relegate repaired mags to practice, I figure I'll need a talented welder at some point.

I know of a couple of people who silver soldered them .They seem to hold up ok.
