There's so much grumbling about crappy customer service, I just had to share this.

40-year-old Rockchucker needs a new grub screw for its old-style primer arm. When I called the company, they said in effect that the design had changed, that they no longer stocked that part - but how would I like a compatible, new-style primer arm, complete?

It just arrived. Free. And they even paid postage.

Damnation, but it's nice to see somebody standing by their stuff!

I lost a few parts to my powder measure during a move, and RCBS sent me the parts for free even though it was my fault I lost them. Their customer service is certainly top notch!

They have a loyal following.
Most times the green I buy unless I'm desperate
at the moment and buy the red stuff.
Oh, I feel dirty now.

Got just a new powder tube for my red stuff, no questions asked but they suggested pouring out the powder after use so that it does not eat away the plastic tube. Red and Green, good stuff.

I have enjoyed stellar customer service performance from both green and red. Decent customer service from That red one that starts with H when I lost the pilots for my case trimmer on a move...made me pay shipping (same cost as the parts, but, hey, they replaced my fault)

RCBS' warrantee is on the kit, not the buyer. They'll fix any issues with a phone call or e-mail. Even if you buy their stuff used. They've been doing this for eons too. Sent 'em a letter long ago asking where I could buy decapping pins. About a month later a package of pins arrives with a list of retailers.

A few years back I bought a brand new Rockchucker at a gun show. I only paid $40 for it but it was missing all the small parts. I called RCBS and they sent me a full set of parts to make a complete press.

In honesty I have dealt with RCBS, Lyman, Hornady, Lee and Redding regarding broken, missing or replacement parts and not one of them has ever charged me anything, not even postage. It doesn't get much better than that.

Here is another great rcbs story..

Not my parents are retired and head down south every fall/winter . Last year my dad stopped in to see if they had .45LC dies, he and the lady there got to talking about how he and I almost exclusively use rcbs . So on top of the dies, they GAVE him 10 brass set screws for the die lock rings , 10 replacement de capping pins, a hat and patch for myself and him .

This year I asked if he could stop in and see how getting carbide cutter heads for my case trimmer and prep center. When asked why he was insistant on carbide he explained that Iv dulled the standard cutter heads in certain parts from so much loading . Paid for the carbide and as well got free standard replacements !
