Hello folks.

I was recently referred to this place from Operatorchan, and was told that this is a great place with reasonable people and lots of information.

Currently I live in Vancouver, BC. I am a full-time student.

Unfortunately, my living conditions make it unfeasible for me to own any firearms.

My parents liked the idea of me getting a gun, but I decided against it due to the sheer amount of immature young people running around the house.

Hopefully, when I move out on my own, I will be able to store some weapons in the house without fear of it being taken away at night by a gang of drugged-up teens.

Regardless, it is very nice to be here. I plan on absorbing plenty of information.

Take a read through the Legalese section among others and you will see that proper storage of your firearms can negate your concerns about immature people in your house accessing them and causing trouble. Good for you for being concerned though. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, the term immature may be a slight understatement.

Not even steel bolts can stop the ruffians that live a floor above me once they figure out that there is a "piece" in a place they can get their hands on.

Unless, of course, you can suggest a way of securing a firearm against determined thieves.
